Here’s Why Parents LOVE Karate!
At TM Martial Arts, students love learning new skills, making friends, and earning fun rewards along the way. But why do parents love karate? Because their students are gaining lifelong skills like DISCIPLINE, RESPECT, CONFIDENCE, LEADERSHIP, TEAMWORK, DETERMINATION, INTEGRITY, HONESTY, ACCOUNTABILITY, RESPONSIBILITY, and so much more!
Instilling character development in young students is a tall order. How do we accomplish such an important mission? We partner with parents to set high expectations for students, both on and off the mat. Our instructors take a personal interest in each of our students’ progress and reward respect and good habits at home. But don’t just take our word for it. Check out for yourself why parents LOVE karate at TM Martial Arts!
“Can’t say enough good things about this academy. From the friendly staff, to the amazing teachers, my son absolutely loves being a part of it all!! He has learned so much, and gained so much confidence in just a short time. I couldn’t be happier with our choice of joining here over other facilities! We looked at 3 other places and nothing compared to TM!” Christina Rauen
“Amazing Amazing staff! The instructors are some of the finest you can ever meet… So much positive energy from the instructors flows throughout the lessons.” Scott Davis
“My daughter really loves her Combat Hapkido class. All the instructors are really helpful and nice. We would recommend this to anybody, we are very impressed with what she has learned so far in self defense.” Edward Olejniczak
“Your program is so much more than just an extracurricular activity. All the instructors have taught [my son] to be brave & have given him the self confidence to know he can stand up for himself. You challenge him to try things & at the same time make him feel like he can do it. Master Harrison, you have especially taught him to use his voice.” Laura Meston
We are so thankful for students and families at TM Martial Arts. And, as we celebrate our 15th anniversary, we look forward to many more years of serving the community.

HERE’S WHAT’S HAPPENING
Leadership Instructor Training!
Did you know that the highest level of leadership training at TM Martial Arts is our Leadership Instructor Training Program? Once a student is nominated for this program, they begin to shadow instructors in beginner classes. The skills they develop include time management, coaching other students, public speaking, some administrative tasks like taking attendance and setting appointments at community events, plus so much more!
Throughout the month of January, our Leadership Instructor Trainees participated in a four part workshop series on public speaking. These sessions were led by special guest Chad Scott, frequent campus motivational speaker, large business owner in the sports industry, and student at TM Martial Arts.
Instructor Trainees had a blast learning valuable techniques for instructing in a clear, concise manner. We are excited to offer workshops like these are part of the advanced training offered at TM Martial Arts, because we know these skills will serve our students well throughout the rest of their lives!
